Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains how I collect, use, store and protect your personal information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information I collect

To provide counselling, I may collect your name, contact details, GP details, appointment history and brief anonymised notes. I only collect what is needed.

Confidentiality

Your information is never sold or shared for marketing. It is only shared with your consent, where there is a serious risk of harm, where safeguarding or the law requires it, or anonymously in clinical supervision.

How long it is kept

Counselling records are normally kept for three years after therapy ends, then securely destroyed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or erase the information held about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
